Hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. We share books that we've read over the past week and those we hope to read this week.
Last Week:
I finished two foodie fiction lovelies!- Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquival
- Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler
Mailbox Monday is a touring meme where book bloggers share their bookish acquisitions from the week prior. It is hosted this month by Metroreader.
This past week I received some fantastic goodies!
First up, I received an ARC of The House of Velvet and Glass by Katherine Howe
I also received Vaclav & Lena by Haley Tanner via NetGalley!
I am jealous of the Howe book. I loved her first book!
ReplyDeleteI've been wanted to read Like Water for Chocolate for ages but never seem to get to it.
ReplyDeleteNew follower. My Monday post.
Both of these look like great reads. Vaclav and Lena is suppose to be very good. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThe House of Velvet and Glass has a beautiful cover! I hope the inside is just as good!
ReplyDeleteI also hope you enjoyed Like Water for Chocolate--I read it years ago in a multicultural lit class. I can't wait to get my hands on Bittersweet!
Great books, enjoy!

The House of Velvet and Glass has an intriguing title. Is it connected to the Titanic at all? Can just sea an old steam liner on the cover and with the anniversary this year, there's lots of books about.
ReplyDeleteOh, I want to read the Katherine Howe book! Have a great reading week.
ReplyDelete:) I received an ARC of The House of Velvet & Glass too! I'm finishing another ARC right now, but once that's done, I know what I'll be reading. I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteHere's what I'm reading!
Ooh that cover for The House of Velvet and Glass is stunning!
ReplyDeleteVaclav & Lena is on my TBR list. Hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteVaclav & Lena! So pretty! It's on my list...I can't wait to see what you think. ;)
