It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

Last Week:

Last week I finished A Girl Worth Ten Coppers by Morgan Howell which was a great start to a short fantasy trilogy!

This Week:
I have two highly praised debut books from the library: Tell the Wolves I'm Home by Carol Rifka Brunt and Alif the Unseen by G. Willow Wilson (which is getting compared to novels by some of my fave authors).  Plus, I'm still making slow progress with Lonesome Dove.

Last week I finished For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund and Song of Scarabaeus by Sara Creasy for my Sci-Fi book of the month.  I also read and loved Daughter of the Blood by Anne Bishop and (thanks to Anne's great recommendation) The Probable Future by Alice Hoffman.

This Week:
I hope to read Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi and The Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly.  What are you guys reading right now?

I would like to read The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller (a retelling of The Iliad) and The Long Way Home by Karen McQuestion.  If I finish the aforementioned books then I'm either going to start on the Btown Booksters newest pick, the super-chunkster Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry, OR I'm going to get down to business on my ARC bookshelf because it has been neglected for far too long!

The Search for WondLa by Tony Diterlizzi - I bought this because I saw it on this fantastic list of books for kiddos and it is described as "sci-fi meets the Wizard of Oz!"

I actually went back a second day and got even MORE books (for 25 cents apiece) but haven't taken a picture of those goodies.  Seriously, I am completely out of shelf space!
