We're finishing up the weekend festivities with some tailgating and a Chicago Fire game!! I'll be kind of MIA on the blog for the rest of the week but I'll be sure to get lots of reading accomplished. The hubs and I will be listening to Jenny Lawson's Let's Pretend This Never Happened on the drive up (we've already put a sizeable dent in this audiobook and it is HILARIOUS)! Also, I just received an advance copy of Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness via NetGalley which I'm soooo excited for and will definitely be reading! Have a great rest of the week/weekend everyone!!
if you have the possibility to do the last Architectural boat tour of the day, go for that one: at the end of the tour, you go on the lake, and the skyline with the sunset is a breath taking conclusion to an awesome visit. I've done it twice

DeleteHave a great mini-vacation! I've been dying to go to Chicago. I lived about an hour away when I was really little but I don't really remember the city. Let me know how the architecture boat tour is. My husband is an architect and I'm an architecture fan so we're always on the look out for doing architecture-y things when we go on vacation.
