1. Any of the books from The Pink Carnation series by Lauren Willig...gotta love Victorian-era caper romances!
2. Flat-Out Love by Jessica Park - adorable modern day quirky romance.
3. Yours to Keep by Shannon Stacey...cute pretend engagement romance.
4. The Winter Sea by Susanna Kearsley...combo historical fiction and modern day romance.
5. Any story by Sarah Addison Allen...Southern (often foodie) magical-realism swoons!
6. You Don't Have To Say You Love Me by Sarra Manning...move over Bridget Jones!
7. The Rossetti Letter by Christi Phillips...combo historical fiction and modern day romance.
8. Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie...I also love The Cinderlla Deal by Crusie.
9. A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness...supernatural swoons!
10. Fools Rush In by Kristan Higgins...fun contemporary with really well-drawn characters (I also recommend Until There Was You and All I Ever Wanted).
What a great list! I have read so many of these and loved them. I have not read The Rosetti Letter though, adding it to my TBR list now!
ReplyDeleteI love your choices for top romances in books, especially in A Discovery of Witches :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat list! [New follower] I've had Discovery of Witches on my shelf for so long, I REALLY need to read it!

The Rosetti Book was such a great read! So were A Discovery of Witches and everything by Sarah Addison Allen (featured one of her books this week on my list). Great list! =)
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT for this week =)
Oh man, I haven't read very many of these. I'll have to keep them in mind when I'm in the mood for a good romance.
ReplyDeleteI ended up doing two lists -- books from the romance genre, and romantic relationships. Diana and Matthew definitely made my list for the latter! The Winter Sea is on my TBR list, and I've been eyeing the Lauren Willig books for a while. I hadn't heard of The Rossetti Letter -- it looks intriguing!
ReplyDeletePlease stop by and check out my top [twenty!] romances..
Shannon Stacey's book is on my TBR shelf. I may need ot read it next.
