It's Monday! What Are You Reading? & Mailbox Monday

Hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.  We share books that we've read over the past week and those we hope to read this week.

Last Week:
I didn't get a whole lot of reading accomplished this week due to Halloween festivities but I managed to squeeze in:

  •  The Rose Garden by Susanna Kearsley
This Week:
I'd like to read some of these suckers:

  • Leisl & Po by Lauren Oliver
  • The Informationist by Taylor Stevens
  • Oh, and I need to reread The Book Thief for Btown Booksters club!

Mailbox Monday is a touring meme where book bloggers share their bookish acquisitions from the week prior.  It is hosted this month by Savvy Verse and Wit.

This past week I received some fantastic goodies!

The Urban Farm Handbook by Annette Cottrell, Joshua McNichols

The Tiger's Wife by Tea Obreht (courtesy of Random House)

The Kitchen Counter Cooking School by Kathleen Flinn (courtesy of Penguin)

  2. I'm interested to read your thought on The Rose Garden. Happy reading!

  5. I read/reviewed The Kitchen Counter Cooking School last week - loved it!

  6. The Rose Garden looks good, must read.

  7. Okay, I'm extremely curious about The Tiger's Wife. I really am. very quickly and lemme know...

Also, I am still in shock and disbelief that my husband DNF'd The Book Thief.

  8. Liesl & Po looks interesting. I'm not sure I liked The Tiger's Wife, so I'm looking forward to seeing what you thought.

  9. Great covers! Have a good week.

  10. Wonder if The Urban Farm method would work in NYC - only if I could grow everything on my windowsill!

    Enjoy your books!

  11. I really, really want to read Liesl and Po!

  12. Oooh, The Urban Farm looks really good!

  13. Hi Kat, back from my travels and trying to catch up with all my favourite bloggers. I will be looking out for your review of The Rose Garden, just discovered this author today and have added titles to my wishlist.

  14. So... Tell us what you think of The Urban Farm Handbook! This author wants every reader to be satisfied.
