Hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. We share books that we've read over the past week and those we hope to read this week.
Last Week:
I tried to play catch-up with all of my library books (it always seems that when my holds come through they all come at once)! So, I read:
- Across the Universe by Beth Revis
- Joy for Beginners by Erica Bauermeister
- Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins (review coming shortly)
This Week:
I want to finish up with my library reads and get to reading my overflowing shelf of ARCs that I've long neglected! Aaaand...since I'm participating in Once Upon a Read-a-thon this week I think my reading goals are completely do-able.
- Turn of Mind by Alice Laplante
- The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh
- The Devil all the Time by Donald Ray Pollack
Mailbox Monday is a touring meme where book bloggers share their bookish acquisitions from the week prior. It is hosted this month by A Sea of Books.
This week I received a slew of ARCs (again, when it rains, it pours)!
From NetGalley:
The Legacy by Katherine Webb
The Magician King by Lev Grossman (super excited about this one since I really enjoyed the first book in this series)
The Last Letter From Your Lover by Jojo Moyes
From publishers:
The Map of Time by Felix J. Palma...courtesy of Simon & Schuster's Atria imprint (hardcover, not an ARC)
(don't you just love the cover??) |
Before Ever After by Samantha Sotto...courtesy of Crown Publishing
