Top Ten Tuesday: Packing Dilemna

Hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, this week's topic: (Anything You Choose) I'm Not Packing These Suckers Til the Last Minute!

So, I'm moving after 5 years in my lovely little bungalow...eek!  We're not actually doing the deed until August - but as many of you know, excessive bookish hoarding requires early planning.  My hubby said that step 1 of our moving process needs to be books.  So the wall of my dining room is currently lined with a huge amount of little boxes (think beer case size for weight purposes...thank goodness for living in a college town)!  ANYWAYS here are the books that I can't bring myself to pack because "I might want to read that this month!"

1.  Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys

2.  The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson

3.  The Fairy Godmother by Mercedes Lackey

4.  The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

5.  The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett

6.  A Poisoned Season by Tasha Alexander

7.  Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty

8.  Finnikin of the Rock by Melina Marchetta

9.  The Probable Future by Alice Hoffman

10.  A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly

  1. You must read Sloppy Firsts this month!!!

We're getting ready to move too (end of August for us) and my husband is making me do the same thing. It's so hard to choose what books I want to read!

  2. I don't blame you a bit...all of these are great stories!

    Here's my
    Top Ten Books on Happiness.
It would make me so happy if you stop by!

  3. Ahhh! You might read The Shadow of the Wind and Sloppy Firsts this month! Both are just fantastic, enjoy! I also just got Between Shades of Gray from the library and I can't wait to start it. Good luck with the move.

  4. I've been meaning to read several of those for months! Hope you'll enjoy them, and happy moving! (If there is such a thing, because boy.. moving..)

  5. Oh, I loved the Mercedes Lackey book! I've been meaning to reread it this year for a fairytale challenge I'm taking part in, but I haven't got round to it yet.

Funnily enough, I bought Shadow of the Wind just last week! I'm really looking forward to reading it too :)

  6. Sloppy Firsts is great!! I'm trying to read btw shades of grey soon too!! Good Luck w/ the move :)
