  6. Kushiel's Dart is amazing. I'm so glad to see it landed on your favorites of 2012! The sequels are equally good, though I haven't read the last few most recent ones. My attention wavered once we left Phaedre!

  7. Let's Pretend This Never Happened is on my TBR - great title and cover! I've heard it will appeal to David Sedaris fans...and that's me! Next year I'm setting myself a challenge to read some of the books that everyone talks about and you've never got round to and Cloud Atlas is on that list for me.

    here's my list:

  8. I *adored* Poison Study! It's one of my all time favourite books. So great. I didn't enjoy the sequels as much, but I'll definitely be reading books 4-6 when they come out! EEP!

  9. I'm with you about The Song of Achilles--great book. I would never have read Cloud Atlas without the readalong and I really enjoyed it. I am presently reading Let's Pretend because I finally got it from the library and it is good as well. Next year I will probably never read anything new because I am committed to reducing my TBR pile, which is more like a mountain.

  10. I haven't read many of these, but I listened to Song of Achilles on audio and I loved it. I also have Code Name Verity on my list as well. I have been seeing it around and it looks like a good one. Tell the Wolves I'm Home and Let's Pretend... are on my shelves so glad to see those are recommended as well.
