It's Monday! What Are You Reading? & Mailbox Monday

Hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.  We share books that we've read over the past week and those we hope to read this week.

Last Week:
Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
Until There Was You by Kristan Higgins
Girls in White Dresses by Jennifer Close
Delirium by Lauren Oliver

Last week was filled with pretty fluffy reads but now I am a big-time fan of Lauren Oliver!  I'm so glad I finally got a chance to read these two fantastic books and I can't wait for the sequel to Delirium!

This Week:
I will hopefully finish up with my stack of library books and if I get a chance I'd love to get started on a fantasy book (it's been awhile since I've read some fantasy and I've got plenty on my shelves waiting to be read)!  So, mayhaps I'll get through:

The Twelfth Enchantment by David Liss
The Little Women Letters by Gabrielle Donnelly
Sister Mischief by Laura Good (be on the lookout for an author interview on this one!)
The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms by N. K. Jemisen

Mailbox Monday is a touring meme where book bloggers share their bookish acquisitions from the week prior.  It is hosted this month by (one of my favorite book bloggers) Life in the Thumb.

This week I received some great goodies!

Catherine the Great: Portrait of a Woman by Robert K. Massie (love me some Russian historical fiction)!

Jane Austen Made Me Do It: Original Stories Inspired by Literature's Most Astute Observer of the Human Heart by Multiple authors (including Lauren Willig!!)

  1. I have seen Jane Austen Made Me Do It on another site. Looks great!

  2. I love this new cover for Delirium! It is so striking. Girls in White Dresses sounds pretty good.

    Here is my Monday Review

  3. I totally love Lauren Oliver too - she's amazing.

    Happy Reading,

  4. Wonderful books! Enjoy!

  5. I am really excited to read Jane Austen made me do it too! Love Lauren Willig. As soon as I saw her name on the cover I knew I would want to read this.

  6. Delirium has been on my to read list for a long time! I'm glad you liked it!

  7. Enjoy! your reads, Delirium sounds good.

  8. I really need to get to reading Lauren Oliver. I've heard such great things about her books. They're ALWAYS checked out at the library. But the wait makes it so much better when I finally get a book like that, ya know?

  9. Thanks for stopping by my review of Little Black Dress.

You WILL love it. Hope you can read it soon.

  10. The Little Women Letters looks appealing to me!

    Have a great week!!

  11. I love Russian novels too - Catherine the Great is on my tbr list. Have a wonderful week and enjoy your new books.

  12. Girls in White Dresses looks may have to move up my TBR list.

  13. Love your mailbox. Is the Catherine the Great book historical fiction? I'm going to have to add that one to my wish list :-) The Jane Austen book looks like fun.

  14. I still haven't read Delirium! I have it, and I definitely want to read it soon!!

    My "It's Monday"

  15. I downloaded Jane Austen too from NetGalley. Your books all look great. I need to read an Oliver book!!

  16. The Jane Austen book looks like it will be a fun read. I read Before I Fall and loved it. I should really read Delirium.

  17. Mmm sounds like you have some good stuff coming up! I listened to Before I Fall on audio and kinda wanted to claw my ears off. That's one I REALLY wish I would've saved to read in print. However, I'm hesitant to go back and start it since my experience just wasn't so good. I'm glad you've had a better one, though!! The Little Women Letters and Catherine the Great sound like good titles to me. I look forward to your reviews.

  18. Some interesting goodies in your mailbox there.

  19. I'll definitely be looking for the Catherine the Great book. I don't think that I've ever read any fiction about her. Having just been in Ukraine, I'm way interested in that part of the world's history now!

  20. I really liked the Little Women Letters. And, Jane Austen Made Me Do It is on my wish list! Enjoy your books!
